Argh slack too much and no motivation.

Been a while since im on unpaid leave.. been rotting at home and trying not to overspend.. eating into my savings man, but the spending habits just dun change.. everyday spend a bit, end up spent a lot in a month..

My mum keep telling me I should save up since I going to start renovating my flat and settling down... yeah! Im settling down.. finally haha and I got my flat liao! Now just settling all those loans and stuff and waiting to collect my keys.

Even though its in Jurong West(supposingly nobody want, which is rubbish), and 2nd floor, I still like it and its near MRT and stadium (though i seldom go) and most imptly, just 5 mins walk from my parents.

Guess the hassle and hussle of doing all the admin work and preparation work are tedious,like applying for loans, sourcing for Interior design and contractors, and most imptly ROMing!
Guess it will be worth it once u step into ur lovenest!

CFA exams is coming in 10 days time and alamak Im still at book 1. Jialat man. Super not motivated to study. I must buck up for the next 10 days. At least dun fail so badly. Wahahaha.
And straight after that, I will be back at my old work place.. dunno whether its a good or bad thing. Praying for everything to be smooth sailing for me.. i hope so.

There is this particular person that deserved special mention... Who else but the Mother F******CB kia, HJY! Owe pple money, sms him dun reply, call him no answer... feel like it then just sms and say" Im very tight this few months, will return u asap." I replied back and heard nothing from him again. F***ing irresponsible bastard... got money to gamble, got money to fly to australia to chase back gf, got money to afford a car and stay condo, no money to return debts. WTF!!!!!!! Curse u every blardy damn day! I m damn damn damn pissed. Better dun let me see u on the street...

No more lending money to pple liao.. no more credit for pple. Everything CASH!

Ydae was my one mth with Credit suisse and also my last day!
Guess product control is not really my cup of tea... was pretty pissed by the environment for the first 2 weeks and then things start to really looked better when i start clicking with my colleagues.. maybe if this has happen earlier, I might not have quit. Haha..

Currrently jobless.. going to slack for the next one month til I rejoin PwC.
Having my doubts abt rejoining.. feel damn insulted when I saw one of my managers at Mono and kenna suan-ed... KNN. like 2nd class citizen if i go back, like i cannot survive OUTSIDE PwC. NNB.

Anyway see how things go... taking these 3 weeks to lose weight, to pass my ippt and to study for my CFA.

TIring week..

My dear vivi sick, super high and on-off fever plus vomitting from Thurs to Monday, see 3 time doc and 1 times hospital.. super draining, just came back from hospital after seeing her home and tucking her to bed.. hope she recover soon. GAve all the TLC i can muster!

Still trying to get used to my new work place and dun seems to be able to click with my new team.Hopefully things will get better and I will be thrown in to do my work tomorrow..
Hope everything is gonna be alright.

Weekend, my brother broke his leg.. haiz recently so many things happen.. so tiring, dun even have time to study for my CFA...

Getting a bit sian cos I cant really leave early to bowl league, or to go rotary league dinner etc....
The only good thing is that I can go to work slightly later... kinda miss PwC, but guess when pay day comes, I be happier!

First day stepping into Credit Suisse...

Nothing much to do, walk ard talking to my dept mates.. all like very steady.
Stressed man!

got to understand everything and learn everything all over again
Got to handle ang mo boss!
CAnnot chao keng.. im sitting right in front and office is so bloody open concept.
Got to handle politics...
And admin is so cork up today.. cant acccess my personal folder and other applications and databases. Sian.. only got my own email and extension..

Hope things will get better.. 10 -730 today.. and did nothing. Yawnz. Missing audit liao.. damn. Praying that things will get better soon... it better be... =)

Woohhooo! Been a long time (5 whopping months!) since I updated my blog... also dunno where to start. Lets see....

Bought a new Toshiba laptop and using it to update my blog now.. =)
Met up with Xiao S for her Bdae treat at WAraku!
WAnted to try for Singapore Open Graded B, but the cutoff so blardy high 209 average. Yawnz man.. spinner sure die at Mt faber...
Just switch job from PwC to Credit Suisse, from audit to product controller role... past 2 days has been going thru orientation, have not gone into work proper.. Feeling kinda weird in the outside world and feeling super insecure cos of the unfamiliar environment and meeting pple from all sorts of educational background, races etc etc.. So unlike audit, where everybody is from NTU or SMU or Australia etc etc and all studying ACCOUNTANCY!! Haiz.. kinda home sick feeling...
Hopefully everything turn out to be fine... Praying damn hard....

Spent the last day taking pictures with most of my colleagues like peijun, esther, becky, boon thong, YCS, Mich mich, Sharon, Ching Chin, Zhenyu, Zhexuan, Panni, PEili, Maggie, Hoan etc etc.. Din manage to take with Celine and PRiscilla, my 2 best pal in PwC.. Oh well.. lets see how much i'm being missed...

Anyway Im REally grateful to PWC for everything that has been given to me.. Though no CA program, no overseas secondment, I will still rem all the beautiful memories.Would still love to work for PWC again... but no audit hopefully..

Started studying for my CFA level 1 too... pretty hard to work and study man.. so many books and so many pages to read! Faint man... But just feel kinda motivated, kinda map out wut I'm going to do in the near future...

CFA ~ Financial Engineering ~ Valuation or other quantitative position like equity research etc etc.. haha pass my CFA then say!
Wun be going overseas anymore this year. Hoping to use my leave for CFA study.. hopefully it gets approved by my ang mo boss.... HEard that my unit that doing well... CDOs... subprime! Dunno bonus affected or not.. haiz. So many changes.. yawnz..
Planning to go New Zealand next year with GX and WArren,hopefully sometime in June? Haha but its CFA time again! Yawnz.
CAnt wait to attend ADeline wedding in Dec! haha 21st to be exact! lol i finally rem!

Life been boring so far.. nothing much to do, but past few weekends been playing soccer and bowling haha. Shiok man.. but once work proper starts, most prob got to hang up my bowling balls liao... Anyway EVERYTHING is so uncertain now.. wait for my next update!

Phantom of the opera is nice! Fantastic singing, Excellent stageplay and good linking between scene play and props are great!Worth every cents of my money haha..

Was happy that my dear was happy cos it was her first time watching at esplanande. =)

Waiting to catch Spiderman 3, POTC - the world end, Ocean 13 and Next. No chance to watch them in Taiwan.

Long update..

Been a while since I updated.

Nothing much except for work and work and more work.

Went Taiwan for 12 days in late April. Pretty nice trip but wish the weather is a bit colder.
Temp ard 22- 28 degree celsisus. Did some shopping, sightseeing and makaning. Travelling ard Taiwan is tiring man. Few few hours of train ride is super tiring.. but surprisingly, we can sleep on the plane, on the train and on the mrt!

On compassionate leave from 7th til 9th May. Grandfather passed away. This time, I wasn't hit as hard as my granny's 2 years back... Maybe I wasn't as close to my grandfather. Or maybe I'm already numb to all these. Last year, my dad's brother passed away after a freak accident too.. haiz. Part and parcel of growing up....

Realised that T's grandfather passed away peacefully in Feb this year. Haiz... a bit too late now but I guess as long as he lived his life to the fullest, we should be happy for him..

Since coming back from Taiwan, suddenly feel I need a change in my life and my career. Time to seek a direction.. Was looking at my RETAIN and realised my senior year at PWC is almost packed with Barclays. Goosh.. focus on banks? get my CFA? *scratch*

Anyway, need a change in my lifestyle.. got to start somewhere. We shall see....

Been a long time since i blog. Since waiting for my barclay my client file to load.. i shall write something...

Bdae passed liao! im oficially 26.. passed my first ever ippt on the 10th!
Pretty non happening birthday.. spend time eating dinner with my family and aunties. Not much wishes from my frens.. guess not a lot of pple rem.. think only my 3 sisters, my buddy, edmund, inez, nic, warren rem..

Pretty disappointed but oh well.. guess it get fewer as you get older. Non of my peers know my birthday, not even say wish me la! No true frens can be found at work. Guess its that stage that pple are busy with their work, no time to entertain and things just get political. Gotten used to it i guess..
Me and my little island. Think what matters most to me is that one of my good fren actually did not wish me.. haiz.

Lucky still got gf ard.. not that bad afterall. Got a polo tee, perfume, wallet, nike bag, raoul shirt and tie and cuff links... from 3 person only. Better than nothing i guess.

Work is piling up and im feeling the stress... Technical incompetency is starting to show and i really dunno whether ican cope or not when i become a senior. DOesnt even know whether i will survive by getting a new job outside. Hard man i guess.. see wut the future lies. Back to work. Hopefully can blog some more before my peak ends.. if i get the time.

Woah. finally reset my blog password..
Update after 2 weeks haha.

Guess still got pple reading my blog lolz. so im updating now.

Workwise:

Entering into peak. Bank audit really cannot smoke my way thru..now panic liao. Manager now want test samples as at year end to get comfort over year end balances.Sian got to get samples from the different clients again. So hard to get information out of them.

Still got to link all my process and controls that i test to the different balances.. headache man. Dunno how. making use of my sunday to read thru. STRESSED! What makes thing worst is there is a fellow peer on the job and super stressed man. He like quite zai... feel so inferior.
Next 2 weeks sure got to work late, maybe even til 12 plus. Weekend also need to work... Auditor life really so sian...

Anyway went for MS interview on friday. No time to prepare and read up cos busy at Barclay audit.. screwed up i guess.. but never mind.. take it as my first interview exposure.

Took my first IPPT on 4th Jan. Tot i got chance to pass.. kns fail my 2.4 run... but not bad la.. at least i din stop throughout the whole run even though i din run continuously for so many years liao! Now going retake on the 27th.. now forcing myself to run .. but no much chance to go for funs... cham. I dun want to go RT!!!

Got a new nike bag from dear as early bdae present. Haha aim very long liao so get it first haha but nm vday also can get another present. Bought a pair of shoes too..the previous one already gone case already... Went watch Singapore vs Vietnam at national stadium. Boring match, ended 0-0.

New year resolutions are set and hope i can achieve them! 5% obtained..

Hai, pretty sad that i getting more developed horizontally.. guess i got to put in effort to slim down and better grooming.. see hw things go. Get thru the peak period first...

Happy 2007! New year new resolutions!
Haven tot of it yet but will update my list of resolutions by this week!

Long break going to be over soon.. after tomorrow, I will be embracing the peak. Argh. dread going back to work after such a long break! Haven played enough..

Come to think of it, din really did much during this break. settled some stuff but din exercise or train up for my coming IPPT. Sure buang.. Prepared for RT liao.. cham. RT during peak is XIONG!

My uncle passed away on 26th Dec after he slip and fell at work. He was 65. Was at the wake from 27th til 30 th, the day he was cremated. Guess during this period, my dad was the worst hit. Though it was clearly written on his face, Im dead sure that he dote on his elder brother much more than the rest... Every action of his indicates that. I was touched and i guess that behind the strong side of man, there is always a soft spot..

Not much Mj action this break also.. spend new year eve watching "BU YI SHEN XIANG" til 9 am in the morning. Power man. Watched 17 discs at one shot. Today also cannot play mj.. haiz. No choice.. got to fly hamtaro aeroplane cos i kenna ban.. valid reason so guess i should not complain too much. But still sian cos bored.... lucky got EPL actions.

Just got my SMRT citibank card today. Though dear still got phobia of Citibank, she reluctantly let me get it haha.. My persuasive power is good! Maybe i want to apply citibank dividend card too!

Today dear dad bdae. Went to eat zhi cha.. after that went to furniture shop see see look look. Damn tempted to buy a new mattress! but the one we like is bloody 2000 plus! faintz... Very tempted to change all my furniture also haa but got financial and room constraints. Lolz so end of the day .. nothing bought...

Going to watch death note and curse of the golden flower over christmas! Not much thing to do.. maybe walk walk orchard road take some photo.. haha buy digi cam like not much use lolz.
Christmas most prob spend with family at home.. surprisingly they wanted to celebrate at home with my aunties! haha should be fun i hope..

Today see doc.. din know my cough so jialat. Doctor give me so many packets of medicine.pengz.
THen he gAVE me an injection on that bump on my ASS.. kns ... dunno will heal or not. Took supplements alsofor my stupid cartilage problem on my left leg.. cham man. cannot overexerted anymore. Like dat how to take IPPT! Will go take X ray soon and see wut the problem. Hopefully the Parkway SHenton card can cover. Hoho.. Exploitation of company benefits!

Had a pretty fulfilling weekend. No Mj or soccer betting. Woke up slightly earlier on sat to go Kbox at cineleisure. K lunch is pretty cheap($11) though the food was alright only. After that went down to Alexandra hospital for soccer match. Lost 2-0 man.. Played badly again. No stamina man... ArghIPPT coming.... died. Rem my IPPT date..4th Jan.. sure buang.. Here i come RT.

Sunday went pray pray with dear.. din know there is another place on the 2nd floor of Bugis street that can pray also. After that went audio house with my aunties to do shopping! Haha songz man, thanks to the CHelsea and arsenal match that ended 1-1, My prediction came spot on and my auntie got a 50 % rebate in the form of voucher. $1300 to be exact. Haha end up i bought a Sony T10.. Cool man!! Finally! Bought a dvd for my mum too! but that one i pay myself la! haha

This coming week going to work again.. hope everything turn out smoothly.. Feeling kinda not so sian abt work anymore... maybe because weekend is pretty refreshing?

1 more week before my hamtaro come back! haha im waiting BRO!!

Just got news that another ofmy soccer buddy is going to tender on Monday. Another Product controller.. should i jump onto the wagon as well?

Today went to the CAGE to play soccer (some charity event and we are sponsored by PwC).
Drew 2 matches against the top 2 teams and then beat the other 2 teams by 1-0 score line. ENd up we finish joint 2nd of the group but then apparently goal difference is not taken into account. SO go into penalty shootout lo.. faint just took one kick only and settle everything. The team is made up of deaf pple and they are really competitive. Kenna big bruisse on foot and shin.

Oh well, hate to lose and din score again!! but everything in the name of charity and i guess they want to win it more than us. Hee.. soccer season should be taking a break to welcome the PEAK!

Ydae mj haha played 1-2 dollar.. damn stressed man hha lucky J din win.. as usual no body want him to win! talk so blardy loud... ddamn DL. League at taman jurong.. bowl 187 average only win 1 pt.. kns lost to a fat malay.. anyhow hum dum the ball. DL again... first time bet pin 5 in game 2 and guess wut.. NONE AT ALL!!! faint.. strikes got 6 though haha. F-up bowler lolz.

Oh gosh.. its thursday liao! wasted 3 days of leave dunno doing wut. Everyday sleep and sleep.. haha but good. Can save money!

Went tailor make a pant ydae.. so paiseh the auntie measure this measure that.. so awkard. haha Din realise i EXPANDED so much.. TMD!

Haven had a single session of MJ since last friday.. sobored. Cleared up some work that are still outstanding. So sian.. could have finish it in one day haha but procastinating.. Jialat. Nearing to weekend, should have more entertainment coming up..

Had a long chat with my mum insurance agent today. sobz sobz.. insurance now deduct from my GIRO.. Im getting poorer and poorer..

Meanwhile, got to arrange with my powerpuffs when we want to meet up for christmas! I so lazy that i dun even want to aranage haha. Self arrowed! Got another suggestion to go Malaysia together with our partners! Haha wonder which day is good.. got to think again.

Sometimes i really feel that frens at work is impt.. usual like uni days when i got my powerpuff gals.. got so much topics to talk abt. At work also the same. Really envious when other runs are so close.. I seriously dun mind company outings.. but no one to go with! so stoopid to go alone.. and my run pple always find it boring or redundant to go to these outings. Lucky still got bowling clique.. but also a bit weird la.. at least we got bowling to talk abt! not that bad afterall...
Need a sense of belonging.. =(

Anyway got a feeling that i will stay in PWC for a long long time.. dunno why. maybe im just lazy to go search for a job, lazy to get used to a new environment again. Typical human nature. Lolz

Today boring day .. nothing much to do.

Meet Piggy for dinner and then went for 8pin tap at Kim Seng.

Bowl 300 171 231 300 265 for average of 253. Damn lousy!! 2nd and 3rd game went haywire.. strike on one lane and keep hitting 3 pins on LANE 10.. cant believe it man!!!!!!
Lucky recover well to at least claim back a bit of the fees.

Wonder wut to do for the coming one week when i on leave.. cant travel. stay at home do nothing also good! save money!! haha

Forgot to add! today is my one YEAR ANNIVERSARY IN PWC! YEAH!!!

Oh how times flies.. 2 weeks at SPC and its over.. Pretty fun team and close team i must admit. Wondering whether should i go back for finals or not.. but it clashes with Barclay. See wut the manager decides ba. Still find my self technically not competent. Haiz.. must put in more efforts.

Weekend quite boring.. play mj til 8am on friday night and end up winning 6 dollars! yawnz..
Sleep til 4 plus then sit and watch soccer... boring sat.

Sunday also .. wake up and eat and then finish up some SPC work. Watch soccer at night again.

Bad day today.. Parents quarrel til jialat jialat. Got to console both at the end... feel so helpless. cant help in any manner. Haiz wonder wut will happen the next few days. Damn embarassing as my brother frens were ard and parents shout and shout.. i also shout and shout. Wonder why everything is turning out like dat.

Sometimes, i really think that money can solve a lot of problems... Expecting an increment of 10% already! Yeah!

Anyway nomore betting for me from this moment onwards.. already return a/c to W liao. Hope my asset will grow. Life starts at 26...

As usual updates since the last posst...

We are IPG Bowling champion! Nomore disqualification after so much debate.. and guess wut the prize for finishing champion? One cheapo vaccum flask with the engraving "IPG Champion".. KnS.. not even a medal for memories.
We are IPG soccer champion! THough i din score.. it been a great weekend... dramatic match and dramatic goal by sean.
Booked on SPC audit for 2 weeks.. know 2 seniors who are damn funny and damn chiongsters. Super TIC and slack job. Just test revenue cycle and its control and think i got 2 weeks time to finish. And everyday cna go VIVO city walk walk cos SPC is at harbour front!
Eventhough its payday, kenna new financial burden. Now got to pay the insurance that my parents bought for me last time.. Stress man. Christmas week on leave.. but cannot afford to go overseas. haiz damn pathetic. Hopefully with the increment coming in Jan, things wil get better....
Bought a new shirt though at G2000 haha intending to buy another shirt at zara as well as another pants... oh well these are money that need to be spent... I need them for work!

Anyway recently seems pretty lonely... E and buddy overseas. W only cares abt his gal now. Things have just become different. Oh well.. nothing much to say. Power of love...

Powerpuff gals are also busy with work and they have their own frens now. Sometimes, i really want a sense of belonging somewhere.. well still looking for it...

Weekend was pretty busy for me.
Had soccer against this bunch of CHINA guys.. wah lau they damn fit man.. or maybe im just weak. Haha.. only a few pwc guys turn up. First time turnout so poor.. so pathetic. Din really had a good game.Play up front with a guy fromKPMG... so sian no understanding,, keep chasing loose balls.. then when i tot i can break my duck, they let the guy take the penalty kick and he missed... sianz... Haven bloody score wearing the inter CPA jersey. Even rooney score hatrick liao!

Sunday was inter profession games.. no motivated to bowl at first.. haha but I saw Tee Joo (ex nus bowler) haha and another guy that i dun like.. suddenly fired up. Think its just me being ego. Dun like to lose. Bowl 211 and 222 for the first 2 games. haha then a 174 in the last game after missing a pin 5 in the last frame! WTF!

Stressed man. haha then realised the opponents also bowl badly in their last game. Songz. lolz
Team champion and single champion. yeah!!! but no prize but pride salvaged!

Recently quite pok. buy present for Vivian then pok liao and owe W money... hai think got to ask my dad to cut down on betting liao.. cannot cover liao.

Meeting quite some financial advisors.. maybe its tiem i start planning liao.. haha see who offer the best deal i guess..

Work so far quite relax.. but scared its the calmness before the storm. Waiting for client to pass me samples... jialat man.. no time to vouch so many.. scary.

Pray for better better tomolo.... Wonder when results for CA aussie will be out... hmm...

Brought her out to eat and gave her money to buy things that she need.

Bowled 8 pin tap on sunday and haha average 260 still lose to auntie bowlers. haha at least i manage one perfect game( though nothing much and the auntie got 3) and close for 3.

Got back one appraisal and kenna 3(average). So sian! Thats the kind score a manager would give. Put in so much time and effort and sill like dat. Sianz... not worth my effort.

HEard that there is a firm wide increment. Dunno true or not.

Stoopid job also cannot finish. Cant bring myself to finish the planning job. Manager not reviewing and the TIC not helping me. Sian. Think saturaday go back office and do. Clear it once and for good.

At barclay so bored... sleepy too. whole day wait to meet client and wait for samples to come in. Yawnz man. Hope tomolo will be better!
